My favourite Rumi poem

The grapes of my body can only become wine
by Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi

English version by Andrew Harvey
Original Language Persian/Farsi

The grapes of my body can only become wine
After the winemaker tramples me.
I surrender my spirit like grapes to his trampling
So my inmost heart can blaze and dance with joy.
Although the grapes go on weeping blood and sobbing
"I cannot bear any more anguish, any more cruelty"
The trampler stuffs cotton in his ears: "I am not working in ignorance
You can deny me if you want, you have every excuse,
But it is I who am the Master of this Work.
And when through my Passion you reach Perfection,
You will never be done praising my name."

A Poem

To the darling Rose,
I love you when you blossom in white vessels of nectar,
I love you when you are red with rich satin of sunset moon,
Be with me to trample the grapes some more.

Soul Therapy

I Invoke the Power, the Love and the Wisdom of my Ashram, Soul and Monad,

To guide me into the right activity in the Plan,

To clarify and stimulate my mind to Transform and transmute my feelings and emotions

To energise and vitalise and heal my physical and etheric body

So there is a normal flow of energy in my physical and etheric body.

Through this day and every day I ask this in the name of the Christ to serve the One

All in the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit

AMEN

The Great Invocation

Statements of the Master Pattern

This is Truth about the Self
All the POWER That ever was or will be, is HERE NOW.

I AM a centre of expression for the primal WILL to GOOD which eternally creates and sustains the Universe.

Through me, its unfailing WISDOM takes form in thought and word, filled with understanding of its PERFECT LAW, I am guided, moment by moment, along the path of LIBERATION.

From the inexhaustible riches of the limitless substance, I draw all things needful, both spiritual and material.

I recognise the manifestation of the undeviating JUSTICE in all the circumstance of my Life.  In all things great and small, I see the beauty of the Divine Expression.

Living from that WILL, supported by its unfailing Wisdom and Understanding, Mine is the Victorious Life. I look forward with confidence to the Perfect Realisation of the eternal splendour of the limitless Light.

I rest my life from day to day, on the sure foundation of Eternal BEING.

The Kingdom of the Spirit is embodied in my flesh.
